About Me
Born and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Lilly Beaver is a senior at Elon University double majoring in Dance Performance & Choreography and Psychology with a minor in Teaching and Learning.
Lilly began her dance training at age 2. During her time at Elon her performance credits have included Elon’s Dancing in the Landscape, Black History Month, Fall Dance, Spring Dance, and Elon Cares Concerts. Lilly additionally performed in the American Dance Festival’s Footprints Showcase, Joyemovement Dance Company’s Love Notes, Ash & Elm’s Company Concert, and three NC Dance Festival Residency pieces. She has also presented choreography in the Fall Dance and Dancing in the Landscape Concerts at Elon. Her choreography was most recently shown at the Still Inspired Future Artists Festival in Chicago and the Washington Dance Festival. Not only has Lilly had the opportunity to work with local and guest artists, but she is currently working as an apprentice for Joyemovement Dance Company. Lilly has worked as a Dance Teacher during her time at Elon, as well as assisted with Dance for Parkinsons.
